One of my favourite cities in Lebanon, Byblos is always top on my list when I visit. Only at about 40 km north of Beirut, this coastal city is considered the second oldest in the world with early settlements dating back to 5000 BC. You will love walking through its historical sites, lying side-by- side facing the Mediterranean, then strolling in the old souk looking for souvenirs and finally having some delicious food in one of the many restaurants or bars. One thing is sure in Lebanon; your sightseeing tour will definitely be topped with a rich meza followed by grilled meat or fried fish. And most importantly, your meal will be enjoyed with a wonderful view; in Byblos, it will be the sea under a striking blue sky!
